Mitchell Harris has been in private practice in Acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine since 2004. He earned his Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College in San Diego, graduating with academic honors, and completed postgraduate training at Chengdu University Hospital in China, earning a certificate in International Medicine.

Mitchell practices a range of East Asian acupuncture styles, moxibustion, and herbal medicine at his clinics in Lakeview and Glenview. He is Chair Emeritus of Clinical Procedure and former Faculty Governance Chair at Pacific College of Health and Science, where he also serves as an associate professor and clinical supervisor.

He is the founder of Herbs From East, LLC, an herbal tincture company focused on immune support, and has lectured at institutions including Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, Ascension Health, and national integrative medicine conferences. Mitchell currently collaborates in integrative chronic pain management with Dr. David Freedman at PrimeCare Health, working alongside acupuncture medical residents.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys cooking, yoga, qi gong, swimming, and making music with friends and his son.
